Legal Disclosure:

Horse Riding products and equipment can break under stress; if a horse wants to break something, it will. Royal Legacy Custom Leather will not be held accountable, financial or otherwise for any use, breakage either foreseen or unforeseen, that results in, damage, injury, or death to human or animal. By purchasing our products, you are agreeing to accept any and all risk associated with the use of any and all purchased items. 

It is also important to frequently check for any possible safety issues associated with riding equipment. Care for your gear!

Royal Legacy Leather – Return & Exchange Policy

At Royal Legacy Leather, each piece is crafted with care, precision, and pride. We want you to love your purchase, so please review our return and exchange policy before ordering.

Custom Orders

Due to the handcrafted nature of our work:

  • Custom-designed or custom-sized items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.

  • If resizing is required, we are happy to assist at our shop rate of $80/hour, plus return shipping.

  • Please double-check your measurements before submitting your order. We cannot accept responsibility for sizing errors based on incorrect measurements provided by the customer.

Stock Items

  • Non-custom, in-stock items (not on clearance) may be exchanged only if they are unused, in new condition, and include original tags.

  • Exchanges must be initiated within 14 days of delivery.

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

Clearance Items

  • Items purchased on clearance are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

International Orders

  • All international sales are final and not eligible for return, exchange, or resizing services unless you wish to pay the return shipping costs both ways. Thank you for your understanding. 

Repairs

We understand that horses can be... enthusiastic. If your bridle, halter, or other Royal Legacy Leather item is damaged through regular use (yes, even if your horse breaks it!), we offer repair services at our standard shop rate of $80/hour, plus the cost of return shipping and any materials required.

Please email us photos of the damage to RoyalLegacyLeather@gmail.com so we can assess the repair and provide a time and cost estimate.

Q: How do I measure my horse for a bridle or breast collar?

A: please view our "How to measure" section for instructions and a link to our YouTube channel with detailed videos on how to measure. If you still have further questions, please email us at the above email address. 

 

Q: I have a draft horse; do you make draft sizes?

A: Yes! Any of my designs can be made draft size, just provide me some measurements. 

Q: How long will it take to get my order:

A: We make each item as its ordered. Made to order timeframe can be anywhere from 4-10 weeks. Estimated time frames are based on how many orders are in line currently. Please email us first before ordering if you need by a specific date, and we can see if we can accommodate you.

 

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: Yes!  Please email us for specific shipping costs. You can also change the currency on the button of the page, there is a drop-down menu to change it.
