Single ply harness leather split reins. Made from premium Hermann Oak leather, can be made a variety of lengths, colors, and buckle choices.
Most common width is 5/8", but can also be made 3/4" widths as well.
Buckles at the bit allow for quick and easy changeouts and no possibility of reins detaching like with Chicago screw connections or fiddling with leather ties.
Available in solid brass or stainless steel buckles, or a custom style of your choice to match any of our sets, just choose the custom buckle option.
These reins are always made together and we ensure they are both the same weight to ensure a good connection with your horse. They are naturally weighted at the popper end.
Each rein is edged on both sides and lathered in a softener and preserver product to make sure they are ready for use!
